As a second-generation doula, and as a child that was raised by a village (literally) while separated from her parents for over five years, Damiana brings together personal and professional experience to share this offering for moms and babies everywhere. The J'adore Mon Bébé brand is not just a winning high school DECA project (although it was), it is everything you need to parent with confidence.
In 2014, while interning with Abraham Verghese at Stanford Medicine's Program in Bedside Medicine, Damiana saw that narratives not only matter in medicine, they are medicine. N of 1 is an offering to patients, healthcare organizations, and the people who work with them to revel in this narrative space of wild togetherness.
From this body of work, data-driven insights about the common human experience shall be gleaned by healthcare decision-makers, to improve the lives of those suffering and in need of healing. (Click on the image to be taken to the preliminary version of this project).
Tutoring | made personal was Damiana's first entrepreneurial venture. Before Covid-19, and before hybrid learning was cool, Damiana conceptualized a fully-customized, hybrid learning experience that considers the whole student, bringing together clients and Master's-educated tutors in four major cities between 2017 and 2019. Tutoring | made personal's holistic academic support resources and insights are still available for educators and families in need.
